Well well well!!!

How are you lovely people doing? Well, I'm at a concert right now at the Cafe...one of those screamo concerts. So I decided to come and blog...I just took a quiz about the 5 love languages. Guess what my results were?

#1 - Acts of Service--You prefer to show your love through favors and chores and doing things for others. You feel put-upon and unappreciated when your efforts are taken for granted.

#2 - Gifts--You are moved by presents and physical tokens of affection. It's the fact that someone is thinking about you enough to give you something that moves you. The objects are of secondary importance to the relationship and sentiment with which they were intended.

#3 - Words of Affirmation--You need to hear praise to know you are loved and you may also prefer to express your affection verbally. Negative comments cut right to the bone. You want to hear that you're loved and how much and why.

#4 - Quality Time--This can be expressed either through those intimate tete-a-tete discussions or via doing things together. It's possible to get a low score in this category because you have a strong preference for one form of Quality Time over another.

#5 - Touch--You want to give and/or receive affection physically. This may or may not center around sex.

That's pretty crazy!!! Well if you would like to check it out here's the website:

This thing called brokenness

Hey everyone! How are y'all doing? The semester is almost over and people are on edge...what a great time!!! LOL

Anyways I just started reading this book called A TALE OF THREE KINGS and so far it's really good. It lays this foundation about David then moves into King Saul, the cruel king. There is a question that is put out there: What do you do when spears are being thrown at you? The expected thing is to dodge 'em, pick 'em up, and throw 'em back. But the right answer is to get stabbed to death. Shocking I know, but when you look at it from a spiritual perspective David was being speared for many years (a period of brokenness) to eventually die to himself.

It's mentioned in Chapter 9 that we have our eyes fixed on the wrong King Saul...there is one much worse. God is looking at the King Saul in you. Surprising....we never of it that way but it's true. Once God weeds out all those impurities you are barely recognizable; your personality is totally different. It's a long process for some but the it's all worth it in the end. Well, I have a get back to reading the book...until next time
